Log-In Failure Maxi PC Suite for Registered Product

     I purchased a scanner at NAPA, registered it at autel.com, and downloaded the Maxi Suite software successfully. However, each time I go to log in, I receive this pop-up:

    Failed to log in, please check:
    1. If the device with this serial number is registered.
    2. If the account bound to the device with this serial number is correct.

    The answer to both is YES.

    Any idea what is wrong?

    I just made the walk of shame back to my computer to report my very embarrassing solution.

    It turns out someone else in the household already registered the product but did not download the software. When I registered it (the second time), I got a message saying the product was registered, and I thought that meant "just now" instead of "a day ago."

    So, I guess if you get the above message, make sure someone else in your house hasn't already registered the darned thing.

     check also if you are not behind a firewall blocking access to servers of autel
